After showed excellences in the field of high technology such as robotics technology, rocket technology, ICT and other various fields, UNIKOM’s students re-note proudly achievement in the field of Information Technology, Dani Rusda Taufani, a student of Informatics Engineering Department, Faculty of Technical and Computer Science, Indonesia Computer University was awarded as The Best Personal Microsoft Student Partners (MSP) 2010.
MSP is a chosen student who has passion toward technology and will organize technology seminar, workshop, hands on lab session, and event between university in each campus. In the other word, MSP is campus representative who become representative from Microsoft academic programs. Through this program, given feedback can help Microsoft to create beneficial programs for academic society.
MSP award is an achievement which is given to MSP who have been actively contributing in Microsoft’s activities. Microsoft Indonesia has been conducting scoring since November 2009 to MSP who are active to held and participate in the events that related with technology development. On May 27, 2010, from that scoring, Dani R Taufani who is also MSP leader in West Java Region was awarded for his successful to gain the highest score in Indonesia. Due to his interest and enthusiasm as MSP, Dani was succeeded to beat other competitors from various universities in Indonesia.
Beside Dani, in UNIKOM there are 3 (three) other students who are active as MSP, they are: Irfan Mustafa, Yugie Nugraha, and M. Iqbal. The MSP are cooperating with Microsoft employee in Developer & Platform Evangelism (DPE) Group and Academic Developer Evangelism (ADE) to accomplish their job and always get newest up-date about Microsoft technology.
Suitable with UNIKOM’s motto as “Center of Excellent Education of IT”, the achievement is expected to stimulate the own student to keep the achievement and to stimulate other students to participate actively in the beneficial activity. |
