| UNIKOM Goes To Rocket Contest Indonesia 2010, First Time Participate, 2 Team passed |

University Computer Indonesia (UNIKOM), again act in competition arena between College in Indonesia after succeeding the two (2) Team Rocket at The Indonesian Rocket Contest (KORINDO) National level in the year of 2010.
The Indonesian Rocket Contest carried out every year executed by Directorate General Higher of Education (DIKTI) and Institute Air transport and National Space (LAPAN), is the contest to test the ability of students from various college in the field of rocket engineering.
The Rocket contest which have been several times carried out this is newly first time following by team rocket of UNIKOM but directly successful passed the 2 Teams Rocket UNIKOM to national level. The event which is planning to performed at upcoming June in Pandasimo Bantul beach, Yogyakarta will be participate by teams rocket from other colleges which have passed to national level, where each team consist of three student and one lecturer.
Team rocket UNIKOM success cast aside hundreds of team from various colleges in Indonesia. Referring to the announcement which circularizing by DIKTI, the team rocket UNIKOM success passed along with 63 team rocket differ from various colleges in all Indonesia.
Dr. Yefry Handoko Putra, Chief Division Rocket UNIKOM, explain that both team rocket UNIKOM which consist of six students in this time continue prepared with developed and test-drive the rocket components which will be compete.
The competition is about the rocket that flight into the air with distance around 1 above km of sea level. After rocket fly, the rocket must have deflect to return to a point which have been provided. During the journey to landing point, the rocket must be able to records all existing matters in atmosphere, like temperature, weather, moistures and others. The difficulty of this besides newly participated in the contest, it’s difficult to test the rocket although the appliance are there. More than anything else is perform in the air which was limited dimension, differing from robot in the land that easy to monitored,” he said.

The second team is Aerose 2010 which design by student under name of: Pahreza, Fajri Sulaeman, Ap-Rianti Putri and sugana of Sopian Alviana. |

| In this time, preparation of UNIKOM team rocket has reached eighty percent. We hope as does robot team, UNIKOM’s team rocket also able to incise achievement in world level. |
